Entry: Paging Hugh Laurie Saturday, June 02, 2007

DH has finally started seeing a neurologist that seems to CARE.  Wow, what a difference that makes.  He saw her on Tuesday - and has had 3 tests since, PLUS she finally prescribed him something for the pain and for his muscle problems.  We both really like her and feel that she is going to do whatever she can to get to the bottom of this.  We just hope its soon so he can get some help.  I just wish that the test results were coming back better.  So far, all three results have been bad results:(

But the reason for his title is actually N.  We were out and about the other day and there was a stranger that I glanced at and thought, huh, he looks a bit like Hugh Laurie.  Well, N looked at him and told me - look mom, there's Dr. House:)  You know your 5 year old watches too much prime time TV when she recognizes Dr. House.

B is as happy as always (unless she sees the camera, still).  She is still the sweetest little baby I've ever seen!

I got another job and I start Monday.  It's not in my line of work, I have no experience, and I have to work 46 hours to make what I was making working 28 because of paying for insurance:(  But it's a job and I'm gonna keep looking.  I'm just grateful this has benefits and a 401K.

I love you...you know that right?

You are an amazing, beautiful string woman. You continue to surprise me everyday with your courage and strength. I don't think I have nearly the amount of character you do, Carrrie...You are somethign so special words fail me.

Praying...Lots of praying..

I'm glad you are finally getting some answers, even if they aren't the ones you want to hear. It is amazing what a difference having a personable, knowledgeable dr. makes. I know Rich loves that his nephrologist has spent an hour each appointment talking with him.

Congrats on finding a job. I hope it isn't too horrible, and that you have good luck in finding something more suitable.
